Hello!
And welcome back to me...Hi! Happy New Year etc. (bit late now but never mind...)
I have been absent from this blog for several months now, and for that I sincerely apologise.
However, I have not been keeping inactive thanks to a few little things I've had / have on, such as MD'ing Cygnet's youth production of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast', accompanying a whole module of Stephen Sondheim Music (RIP my fingers) at the Arden School of Theatre, but most relevant to the blog you are currently reading - I am still teaching! And not only that, I am actively looking to increase my pupil base.
Macclesfield Nub News to the rescue!
The delightful Alex Greensmith (who I have had the pleasure of meeting before when my friend and I 'staged' a dinner theatre one woman production of 'Girl in Isolation' at the Old Saw Mill, Congleton under our since dissolved company - West Kingston Productions - back in 2021) came round to my music room and we talked and on the back of that he has written up the most delightful article - and taken many photographs of me and the room itself (it has personality, let's say)...
So this brief blog was just to tantalise you into clicking this link right here and reading it. Perhaps you will be persuaded to take up piano, and who better than to teach you that my very self?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
